Point Accumulation at Ring Games

Point Accumulation at Tournaments
Points are also awarded based on the fees paid by the player when buying-in to a tournament. In a tournament listed as $10+$1, $1 is the amount considered as fees.

All new players start as a Green Dragon. As players begin to earn Dragon Points at ring games and tournaments, they can qualify to be upgraded to a higher VIP Level. The Asia Poker VIP Programme levels are changed on the first week of each month.
Players are eligible for their first VIP Level upgrade after playing in two calendar months. For example, a player who signs up at The Asia Poker on January 4 will only be eligible for a VIP Level upgrade on March 1.
Players are assigned to a VIP Level based a weighted Dragon Points average over the past three months: 50% of the previous month, 30% of the month before and 20% of the month before that.
For example, if a player earns 10,000 points in January + 10,000 points in February + 10,000 points in March, the calculation is 10,000 x 50% + 10,000 x 30% + 10,000 x 20% = 10,000. This weighted average determines the player's VIP level for April.

The Asia Poker VIP Programme
Your participation in the The Asia Poker VIP Programme programme shall be deemed to constitute your full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions:
- The Asia Poker's The Asia Poker VIP Programme programme membership and benefits are provided at the sole discretion of The Asia Poker.
- The Asia Poker reserves the right to terminate or amend The Asia Poker VIP Programme programme membership and benefits at its sole discretion and at any time.
- Participation in the The Asia Poker VIP Programme programme is subject to the terms, conditions and regulations of the programme. The Asia Poker reserves the right to modify, add or delete these programme rules at any time with or without notice, though The Asia Poker will attempt to provide reasonable notice in all instances as appropriate. You are encouraged to review these general Terms and Conditions and the other VIP pages on a regular basis in order to determine if The Asia Poker has amended the provision.
- The Asia Poker retains the sole right to interpret and apply the The Asia Poker VIP Programme programme rules.
- Membership in the The Asia Poker The Asia Poker VIP Programme programme is free and available to individuals residing in countries where such membership is allowed. Participation in some countries may be prohibited by local law.
- Only individuals are eligible for membership in the The Asia Poker VIP Programme programme. Only the individual named in the The Asia Poker account may play under that account.
- Membership is offered at the discretion of The Asia Poker. The Asia Poker may deny membership to any applicant. Any such decision to deny membership shall not be open to appeal or review.
- Dragon Points may not be transferred, bartered, sold or traded in any way.
- Players who chose to buy into any land-based Events through the The Asia Poker VIP Programme programme, should that possibility become available, grant The Asia Poker the right to use their name and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation. These players further agree to help promote The Asia Poker and act as a The Asia Poker spokesperson during and after the Events, including, but not limited to, meeting with press and participating in other events conducted by The Asia Poker. Players must wear The Asia Poker logo gear during the durations of the events.
- Any abuse of the programme or failure to follow programme rules may result in the termination of membership and forfeiture of all accrued The Asia Poker Points.
- The Asia Poker's general Terms of Use also apply to the The Asia Poker VIP Programme programme.
- Decisions of The Asia Poker' staff and management about any aspect of the The Asia Poker VIP Programme programme will be final.
